Fire Art Silver clay is made of high quality pure silver. Silver clay is the perfect way to create any jewelry and accessory you can imagine.
What's in the package
When you open the package you will find metal clay in vacuum bags of approximately 6.5 v 7 grams. You will also find two tubes of liquid in the package. One of them is oil and the other is pure water.
Shape it
Take out as much silver clay as you will use from the vacuum package and knead it in your palm. If the clay sticks to your hands or the rolling pin, add a drop of oil. If the clay is too dry, add a drop of distilled water. In both cases, knead a little. (It should not stick to your palm, you should collect the clay balls that stick to your palm, you can apply some oil to your rolling pin.)
What Can Be Done With Silver Clay?
Fire Art Silver clay is made of high quality pure silver. Silver clay is the perfect way to create any jewelry and accessory you can imagine. Shape like play dough. You can make quality silver objects, beautiful beads, pendants and jewelry components with Fire Art Silver Clay.
Stage of Drying Your Object
Drying time may vary depending on the thickness of the object you are making. Our recommendation is to dry it at room temperature in a non-humid environment for 24 hours. Air-drying mud has a low shrinkage rate. If you want to ensure quick drying, you can use an electric heater. You should leave a distance of at least 4 cm from the wire mesh. Note that shrinkage increases with rapid drying.
Burning and Sintering
Silver clay in particular can be sintered on a kitchen stove or with a Torch. Be patient and operate in a small corner lined with non-flammable materials where there is not much air flow. Make sure the object is thoroughly dried. First, you will see a fire similar to a candle flame on the object, which indicates that the connector has started to burn. Once the binder burns completely and the flame begins to die down, ensure that the object retains an orange color. Do not keep the fire constant on the clay, this will cause the clay to melt and the results will not be good. Move the fire slowly and do this for at least 7 minutes. If you want, you can also bake your clay in a jewelry or ceramic kiln. We recommend this..
